Setting up home in the region of Puglia, Italy was only a dream three years ago for Steve & Sarah Barney from the West Midlands. The vision they saw was for a more stress free lifestyle and giving back some of their experience to holiday makers from across the globe. They have a total of 36 years of press photography work between them & are now enjoying the slower pace of life in Southern Italy.
“CAPTURE la vista” is their new venture and will incorporate digital photographic visits to historic towns, monuments and surrounding areas and along the way sampling some of the delicious local food and wine that this region has to offer. The classroom-free workshops are aimed at all inexperienced and holiday photographers who own a compact digital camera. All guests will experience a variety of photography including, landscapes, portraits, still life and candid photography. Steve and Sarahs CAPTURE the moment training will be passed on to all the guests who will also be encouraged to relax and learn in the Southern sun. B&B in the tranquil settings of the countryside will also be available if required.
Alongside this venture they offer various photo services including, weddings - Their style of photography is reportage and they are now offering photo books as part of their package. For anyone interested in getting married in Puglia they have contact with a local wedding planner who can help with any arrangements. Working for local companies they are now offering a commercial service including photos for brochures, publicity and events. A continuous project is their live music photography covering many festivals throughout the year.
